Pierpaolo has 25+ years of experience leading corporate and asset development activity within the energy industry, including executive positions for independent operators and large-scale project management and commercial roles for Total, ENI, Shell and several tier-one contractors. With a track record of leading high performing teams to safe and profitable outcomes, Pierpaolo is skilled in defining pathways for complex projects and change programs, from highly effective governance frameworks to efficient operational delivery models, and excels in delivering challenging ventures that leverage his strategic planning, execution experience and his motivation to drive sustainable profitability [MEng, MBA].

MICHAEL SMITH

Non-Executive Director
Michael is a UK Chartered Accountant with 30+ years of international experience with PwC Africa in the oil & gas sector and in a variety of senior financial and operational roles in the manufacturing, mining and renewable energy sectors in the UK, Europe and Africa. A broad experience within both the Francophone and Anglophone African legal and financial frameworks as professional advisor with the EU PHARE and TACIS programs in Eastern Europe and former CIS countries evaluating investment opportunities. Michael also has global advisory experience in computer systems upgrades and integration, streamlining procedures and ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities for a number of multinationals.

GARRY P. MAHONEY

Executive Director

Garry is Chairman of Deltasource's multi-family office, investing in natural resources, energy and technology projects, and Technical Director of the investment committee and complementary advisory business.
Garry previously held directorships and senior executive leadership positions in the BP, ENI/Saipem and Worley groups covering oil and gas, energy and technology sectors, including Senior-VP Global Business Development, CTO, Technical Director and Corporate Engineering and Technical Authority.
He was also previously Technical Director at Opensource Capital and SI Capital, a full-service stockbroker specialising in the capital markets activity of small cap. mining and energy sectors. Garry has has played key roles in pre-IPO financing, M&A, IPOs and project development finance.
Garry's has broad commercial and technical expertise in project appraisal, structuring, equity/debt financing, and governance oversight of capital project delivery and asset operation.
